That is fabulous news!
However, I can ask where the bookings have come from?
There is no shame in using the OTAS (like Airbnb) to bring in the odd booking but of course, we’d rather most of our bookings come in direct. This way we have the control and can give the guests the best service we can. And don’t forget not having to pay the commissions!
If you are finding that the direct bookings aren’t coming in as much as you’d like them to, here are three tips:
1. Be consistent in your marketing. Even if you are fully booked, there will be a time you will need or want more direct bookings.
2. Put a plan of what you want to focus on each week and get it in your diary.
3. Use a call to action in every marketing activity you do. Tell potential guests what you want them to do.
Hope these tips help! Let me know how you get on.
